14. Troubleshooting
Problem
ON/OFF switch fails to
work.
Motor fails to start.
No, or insufficient
vacuum (not in the
green range on the
scale).
Vacuum release /
venting, too slow.
Permanent venting
noise.
Paddle does not rotate.
Fluttering noise from the
silencer.

Possible cause
• Power not connected.
• Device fuse blown.
• Damaged power cord.
• Motor fuse blown.
• Motor fault.
• Intake filter plugged.
• Seal surfaces dirty.
• Compressed air hose not
connected, leaky or bent.
• Venturi nozzle plugged.
• Intake filter plugged
• Compressor switched off.
• Solenoid valve fault.
• Silencer plugged.
• Vacuum adjusting knob turned out
too much.
• Compressed air system with
insufficient performance.
• Working pressure too low.
• Air hose too long.
• Square are of air hose too small.
• Intake filter plugged.
• Silencer plugged.
• Solenoid valve fault
• Bowl detection pin sticking.
• Paddle is overloaded, motor fuse

Corrective action
• Check the power supply.
• Replace the fuse (refer to Sec. 6.4).
• Have the device repaired.
• Replace the fuse (refer to Sec. 6.4).
• Have the device repaired.
• Clean the filter (refer to Sec. 6.1).
• Clean the seal surfaces (refer to Sec. 6.3).
• Check the pipe.
• Have the device repaired.
• Replace intake filter (refer to Sec. 6.2).
• Switch the compressor on.

• Replace the silencer.
• Adjust vacuum (see pt. 5.7).
• Control the compressor's performance (see technical
specifications, eventually switch other users off).
• Increase dynamic working pressure (4,5 to 7 bar /
65,27 to 101,53 psi).).

• Minimum inner diameter 4 mm.
• Clean the filter (refer to Sec. 6.1).
• Clean risp. replace silencer.
• Connect a filter unit.
• Have the device repaired.
• Have the device repaired.
• Clean the paddle and the bowl.
• Replace the fuse (refer to Sec. 6.4).
• Increase dynamic working pressure
(4,5 to 7 bar / 65,27 to 101,53 psi).
