EJP/T FUNCTION (for France only)
With or without presence of mains voltage.
The "EJP/T" function is a simplified variation of the "EJP" functioned described above, in which the engine output operates in exactly
the same way.
This function uses just one input, that of the EJP activation command.
The load transfer is made via a timer rather than an external signal designed for this purpose. Once the generating set voltage is
present, the time delay in carrying out the switch is counted.
It can be programmed via the switch delay parameter setting for "EJP/ T". To select the "EJP/ T" function, the parameter P5.02 must be
programmed.
SCR FUNCTION
With or without presence of mains voltage.
The "SCR" function can only be activated via the parameter P5.02.
It enables the generating set to be started via an external control, and enables the grid switch to be changed over to the generating set.
The "SCR" function operates by simultaneously closing terminals 82 and 86 to earth. The generating set starts and after certain amount
of time, the switch between the grid and the generating set is carried out. Once terminals 82 and 86 are reopened, the switch between
the generating set switch and the grid switch is made, followed by the stop with cooling.
5.4.1 – Automatic test programming procedure
To program the automatic test, follow the procedure below:
- Press RESET, then TEST for 5 seconds until "Set" appears, after entry in the menu, the screen displays the code of the first
parameter: "U.01 - Weekly test time interval".
- If the TEST button is pressed, the value for the time interval between 2 tests is displayed; next press START to increase the value, or
STOP to decrease it. Then press RESET to save and exit the menu. This parameter allows the number of days between 2 automatic
tests to be chosen. If, instead of RESET, the AUT button is pressed to exit, any modifications made to the parameter will not be
saved.
- Pressing the MEAS button switches to parameter "U.02"; press the TEST button to display the value and use the START (increase)
or STOP (decrease) button to program the duration of the automatic test.
- Pressing the MEAS button switches to parameter "U.03"; press the TEST button to display the value and use the START (increase)
or STOP (decrease) button to program the time the automatic test will start.
- Pressing the MEAS button switches to parameter "U.04"; press the "TEST" button to display the value and, using the START
(increase) and STOP (decrease) buttons, choose if the test should be carried out with no load (positioned on "1" – U.04 = 1) or under
load (positioned on "0" – U.04 = 0)
- Press RESET to save the last parameter required; after doing so, press RESET after AUT to exit the menu and return to operation
mode.
After having programmed the automatic test, this test must be confirmed. Press the AUT button and press the TEST button for 2
seconds, after which "On" will be displayed on the screen and the corresponding LED will come on. From this point, the counter will
start for the execution of the automatic test, which will take place after the amount of days programmed in parameter "U.01", at the time
programmed in parameter "U.03" and for the duration programmed in parameter "U.02". To deactivate the automatic test, press TEST
again for 2 seconds, after which the screen will display "Off" and the corresponding LED will go out.
EXAMPLE:
If the automatic test is confirmed (Test button pressed for 2 seconds) on Monday afternoon at 3pm, the first test will be carried out 3
days later (Thursday) between 10.00 and 10.15am. The second test will take place the following Sunday (i.e. 3 days later), again
between 10.00 and 10.15am.
