15. Troubleshooting
The CD is not played
• CD has not been put into the tray properly.
• The CD is dirty.
• The format of the inserted CD is not compatible.
The CD is played with interruptions
• The CD is dirty.
• The CD is scratched.
• The CD has a pressing defect.
A USB storage medium or SD card is not recognised
• Storage medium recognition after insertion or switching to another medium may take a while because the
contents must be read first.
• The storage medium must be formatted in FAT16 or FAT32.
• The storage medium has a storage capacity of more than 32 GB.
• Remove the storage medium and re-insert it.
• Only USB storage media can be operated at the USB socket. MP3 players with a USB port usually switch into
PC mode when this port is connected. In this mode, music files cannot be played.
• Due to the many different storage media on the market, it is possible that your storage medium is not compatible.
Try using another storage medium.
The PITCH slide control (13) does not work
• The PITCH function is deactivated.
No sound audible
• A device in the playback chain is not turned on.
• The wrong input was selected on the amplifier/mixing desk.
• The volume control of the amplifier/mixing desk or the final stage is turned to „MINIMUM".
A channel does not work
• A cinch cable was disconnected from the audio output of the player or the amplifier/mixing desk input.
• The balance control was set wrongly on the amplifier/mixing table.
• The cinch connection cable is defect.
Repairs other than those described above should only be carried out by an authorised
specialist.
