2. Intended Use

The CMP-950RUSB Double-CD-/MP3-Player is a semi-professional playback device for audio and MP3 CDs, as well
as for MP3 files stored on USB storage media or SD cards.
This device is designed for home use as well as semi-professional use.
The low-level audio output signal has to be fed to an external amplifier (possibly using a mixing desk or a pre-
amplifier). The device is not suited for direct connection to loudspeakers.
This product is approved for connection to 100-240V~/50/60Hz AC only.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided.
Any use other than that described above will damage this product and involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric
shock, etc.
The product must not be modified or converted, and the casing must not be opened.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
3. Symbols
This symbol on the device indicates that the user should read and observe these operating
instructions before using the product.
The symbol with a lightning in a triangle is used where there in a health hazard, e.g. by electric
shock. The device contains no parts that require servicing. Therefore, never open the device.
The arrow symbol indicates special advice and operating information.
The exclamation mark indicates important notes in these operating instructions that should be
strictly observed.
