4. Safety Notices

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
these operating instructions. We do not assume liability for any resulting damage.
Nor do we assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper
use or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the warranty/guarantee is void.
Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of the device but
also for the protection of your health. Please read the following points carefully:
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for safety and approval reasons
(CE).
• All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this device must be trained and qualified
appropriately and observe these operating instructions.
• This device is a safety class II product. Only a proper mains outlet (100-240V~/5060Hz) of the public supply net
may be used as voltage source.
• This product is equipped with a class 1 laser. Do not open the device and do not attempt to access any interior
components. Never look directly into the laser beam. Laser radiation can seriously damage your eyes.
• The device must be set up correctly. Please also follow these operating instructions.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under mechanical stress.
Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable through extreme heat or cold. Do not modify the mains cable.
Otherwise, the mains cable could be damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a deadly electric shock.
• If the mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the circuit
breaker) and then pull the mains plug out of the mains socket carefully. Separate the mains cable from the device.
Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged.
• In order to completely separate the device from the electricity net, you have to pull the mains plug out of the wall
socket. It is not sufficient to turn the device off with the on/off switch.
