4. Safety Notices
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children! Children cannot judge the dangers
involved when handling electrical devices.
• Never pour liquids on electrical devices and do not place any containers filled with liquids (e.g. vases) on them.
This would cause a serious danger of fire or electric shock. If this is the case, first power the respective socket
down (e.g. switch off circuit breaker) and then pull the mains cable from the socket. Disconnect all cables from
the device. After that, the product must no longer be used; take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
• Make sure the device is sufficiently ventilated when in operation. Do not cover the ventilation openings with
magazines, blankets, curtains or similar. Keep a minimum distance of approx. 15 cm to other objects.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or splashing water, strong vibrations or heavy
mechanical stress.
• Do not place open sources of fire such as burning candles on the device.
• Consult an expert when in doubt as to the operation, the safety or the connection of the device.
• Do not operate the device unattended.
• Only use the device in a moderate climate, and avoid a tropical environment.
• Do not leave packing material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Please observe the additional safety instructions in each individual section of these operating instructions as well.
• Comply with the safety and operating instructions of any other appliances that are connected to the device.
• In commercial or public facilities, a number of regulations for the prevention of accidents as laid down by the
professional trade association for electrical equipment and devices must be observed. You as the user must
enquire at the appropriate authorities and adhere to the applicable laws and regulations.
