Except for the test function, the output is inactive
during the programming process.
When removing the EasyTeach magnet the cor-
responding mode is selected and the action will be
executed.
Empty adjustment - active sur-
face free
The empty adjustment is recommended, when the product to be
detected is not known at the time of the sensor adjustment, but
an overfilling must be excluded. Empty adjustment is also recom-
mended when the sensor has already been in contact with the
material to be detected and there is a product deposition on the
sensor (Fig. 2).
• Approach the EasyTeach spot with the magnet
and hold it until the green LED is flashing.
• Remove the EasyTeach magnet.
• During the initialisation process the LED is flashing
green with higher frequency.
• The empty adjustment is finished when the LED
is static green.
Attention: Do not change the distance to the object to be detected or the filling level during the
adjustment!
With this adjustment the sensor has the largest sensing distance that is possible at the current
mounting position. The switching hysteresis is calculated automatically.

The LED reflects the state of the output.
The program state that exists at the moment when
the white teach wire is disconnected from the supply
voltage is the selected action that will be executed.
• Connect the white teach wire to the supply voltage
and hold it until the green LED is flashing and output
A1 pulsates.
• Disconnect the white teach wire.
• During the initialisation process the LED is flashing
green and A1 pulsates with higher frequency.
• The empty adjustment is finished when the LED
is static green.
