Handling

Dräger X-plore 7300
Secure blower unit to belt.
Use the bayonet catch to attach the corrugated hose to the blower unit.
Select the respective corrugated hose according to the installed facepiece:
hood/helmet/visor TH2: corrugated hose TH2 R56704
hood TH3: corrugated hose TH3 R55571
half/full face mask: corrugated hose TM2/TM3 R55342.
Press ON/OFF button on control panel to switch blower
unit on. The actual flow of breathing air is indicated by the
LEDs on the control panel and can be adjusted via the ar-
row buttons. It can be adjusted between 140 L/min and
210 L/min. The air stream remains constant, regardless of
the filter loading and charge of the NiMH battery.
Check correct functioning of the alarm:
Dräger X-plore 7300 has a two-stage alarm. As soon as
the air stream drops below the selected flow rate and can
no longer be compensated by the blower unit (e.g. NiMH battery charge too low/filter loading too
high), an acoustic warning signal sounds, the LEDs light up red and the blower unit reduces the air
stream to the next lower level. The acoustic warning signal sounds constantly and the red LEDs
flash when the lowest level is reached.
The red LED on the control panel shows how far the NiMH battery has become discharged. Press
and hold the left-hand arrow button for at least one second.
The fewer LEDs light up, the lower the charge in the NiMH battery.
The yellow LED on the control panel shows the extent to which the Dräger respiratory filter has be-
come contaminated. Press and hold the right-hand arrow button for at least one second. The more
LEDs light up, the greater the contamination of the Dräger respiratory filter. When the arrow but-
tons are released, the LEDs light up green again and the air stream is indicated again.
Connect the corrugated hose with the facepiece.

switched on. All green LEDs then light up. The air stream
remains constant, regardless of the filter loading and
charge of the NiMH battery. If the voltage of the NiMH bat-
tery drops so low that the preset air stream cannot be
maintained, an alarm is output (acoustic signal and flash-
ing red LED). Either the Dräger respiratory filter must be
replaced or the NiMH battery recharged/replaced in this
case.
Select the required operating mode for the power-assisted filtering system Dräger X-plore 7500 via
the corresponding buttons (protective hood or full face mask pictogram). The blower unit is set to
the maximum air stream as default setting.
The power-assisted filtering system Dräger X-plore 7500 has three different air stream settings for
each operating mode (half/full face mask or helmets/hoods/visors):
