Now, the battery can be removed.
If the battery is left in the charging device and if it is necessary for the battery, the TRICKLE (TRI) main-
taining charge programme is automatically started; i.e. the battery is recharged (this does of course not
apply if the battery was only discharged with the DISCHARGE programme). The capacity (C) of the
recharge (Trickle) and the time required for this process (hh:mm) will not be indicated or summed up.
Only the voltage and the current are always updated. Therefore, the charging capacity, the discharging
capacity and the time only refer to the programme processed.

If the recharging process has not been successful, the error message ERR (ERROR) is displayed and
the charging device does not charge this battery any longer.

This charging device is provided with a memory backup. This means that the programme and the cumu-
lated capacity values of the battery are saved in the case of power outage. Therefore, never replace the
battery if the device is turned off, because otherwise the charging device would then take over the data
which are not valid any more and would determine false values for the new battery.
If the charging device is switched off while setting the programme, the settings restart.
The programmes can only be continued if the built-in Goldcap was previously charged; to this end, the
charging device must be switched on for at least 2 hours.
