Do not leave the batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being
swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause burning if they come into contact with
the skin. Therefore, you should use suitable protective gloves when handling
batteries/accumulators.
Do not short-circuit batteries and do not throw batteries/accumulators into a fire.
Batteries may never be re-charged. Danger of explosion.
This charging device is for charging simultaneously of up to four nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal-hydride
round cell batteries, types Mono, Baby, Mignon and Micro.
Moreover, two 9V compound nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal-hydride batteries can be charged in the slots
provided for this purpose. These compound batteries may consist of 6, 7 or 8 cells.
The maximum nominal capacity (given in mAh or Ah) of the battery to be charged is not restricted.
Lithium ion batteris must not be charged or discharged with the charging device.
Dry batteries (primary cells) must not be charged with this device.
Rechargeable alkaline batteries must not be charged with this device.
Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged with this device.
The V DE guidelines apply, in particular DIN VDE 0700, Part 29.
A direct voltage of max. 16V is applied to the connection contacts of the charge manager.
This device is short-circuit-proof.
The device may only be operated at an ambient temperature of 0 to +40 degrees centigrade.
The ventilator always operates when the device is on.
If the ventilator is not on, the device must be immediately switched off and secured against unauthorised
operation.
Leading battery manufacturers recommend an ambient temperature of approx. 20°C while recharging.
Direct sun light must be avoided here.
A new charging technololgy is used with this charging device which prevents the memory effect and gua-
rantees a 100% charging of the battery.
