To grease the bearing guide:
1. Calculate the load comparison factor fv with
the aid of the formula for combined loads
( 11 Technical data) and determine the lub-
ricating interval S

2. Grease the bearing guide on both sides at all
lubrication holes 3.
3. Move the slide the complete travel distance
during lubrication in order to distribute the
grease evenly inside.
Alternatively, Festo offers a service inspection
which includes lubrication.
Otherwise, the DGC-HD is maintenance-free.
