SDE5-...
4. Pressurize the SDE5-... with the second teach pressure (TP2). In this way the
switch element function is also defined (see instruction above).
5. Press the EDIT button 1 until the LED stops flashing.
When the button is released, the SDE5-... saves the second value. The relation-
ship between teach pressure, switching pressure and hysteresis is shown in
the table above. For mode 1 the switching pressure is formed from the average
value of both teach pressures SP = 1/2 (TP1 + TP2).
Carry out a test run with various pressures to ascertain whether the SDE5-...
S
switches as desired.

Operation
Warning
High pressure amplitudes and high pulse frequencies can heat the SDE5-... up
to over +80 °C (risk of injury).
S Make sure that the SDE5-... does not heat up more than the permitted ambi-
ent temperature (see chapter "Technical specifications").
Otherwise the materials of the SDE5-... may be damaged (e.g. seals).
8
Care and maintenance
Cleaning
Switch off the operating voltage.
S
If required:
Clean the SDE5-... with a soft cloth.
S
The following cleaning agents are permitted:
– soap suds (max. +60 °C)
– all non-abrasive agents.
