Setting mode of the additional output (only Pro D2i/Pro D3i)
Two different modes are available for the additional output:
1. Intensity regulation
2. Room temperature regulation
Perform the following steps to switch between the two modes:
1. Open the technician menu (see page 38).
2. Select "Ir" by pressing the mode button D.
3. Press the On/Off button A.
4. Select the desired setting using the plus button B and the minus button C.
● "oFF" means intensity regulation (standard; dimmable/switchable see:
Page 41)
● "on" means room temperature regulation (see: Page 52)
5. Confirm the selection by pressing the On/Off button A.
6. Make other settings or leave the technician menu by pressing the On/Off
button A for about 3 seconds.
7. Then switch the power unit off for about 10 seconds.
Set the maximum temperature for the additional output (Pro D2i/Pro D3i only)
A maximum cabin temperature can be set for the additional output, above which it
automatically switches off. When the temperature falls back below this maximum
temperature, it switches on again.
To set a maximum temperature, carry out the following steps:
1. Open the technician menu (see page 39).
2. Select "IrH" by pressing the mode button D.
3. Press the On/Off button A.
4. Select the desired value with the plus button B and the minus button C:
● "oFF" means no maximum temperature has been set (default)
● "45" °C maximum temperature for additional output
● "60" °C maximum temperature for additional output
● "70" °C maximum temperature for additional output
5. Confirm the selection by pressing the On/Off button A.
6. Make other settings or leave the technician menu by pressing the On/Off
button A for about 3 seconds.
7. Then switch the power unit off for about 10 seconds.
