Mute level setting

This sets the volume when it is muted .
o By default, the setting is −∞dB .
−∞dB
The volume becomes −∞ dB when muted .
−20dB
The volume is reduced 20 dB from the set level when muted .

Remote control AMP button setting

AMPRM>***
Set whether the remote control AMP section buttons are enabled or
disabled .
o By default, the setting is ON .
o When using this unit connected to an ESOTERIC integrated ampli-
fier or preamp, set this to OFF .
ON
This enables the INPUT (l/;), SETUP, VOLUME (+/−) and MUTE
buttons in the AMP section of the remote control .
o Use the above SETUP and INPUT (l/;) buttons to set the L/R
balance (BAL>) and input gain (LVL>) (page 24) .
OFF
This disables the INPUT (l/;), SETUP, VOLUME (+/−) and MUTE
buttons in the AMP section of the remote control .
o Use MENU 1 to change L/R balance (BAL>) and input gain
(LVL>) settings .
