Maintenance and care

5.1

Maintenance intervals

Task
Maintenance of the hub (see Technical Manual available at
www.dtswiss.com)
• Under normal operating conditions
• Under extreme operating conditions
(regular journeys in extreme dust, rain, snow, transport in the
rain)
Check the tightening torques
• Center Lock adapter:
• Screws in the brake disc:
• Lock ring on the cassette:
Check the functionality of the rear wheel hub.
The traction on the rear wheel hub must operated perfectly!
Check the hub for damage.
Clean with a soft sponge and a suitable cleaning agent (do not use
solvents or tensides).
Do not use high pressure cleaners or aggressive cleaning agents!
5.2

Disposal and environmental protection

The legal provisions concerning disposal apply. Essentially, waste of all kinds must be avoided
or recycled.
Any waste, carbon, cleaning products or liquids of any kind must be disposed of in an
environmentally responsible manner.
