Assembly
4.1
Assembling the brake disc
Using a 6-hole brake disc on a Center Lock
1. Clean the brake disc mount, Center Lock
adapter and brake disk.
2. Push the chamfered side of the base body (1)
onto the gearing of the Center Lock mount.
3. Push the holes of the 6-hole brake disk (2)
onto the pins of the base body (1).
4. Screw the lock ring (3) on using a suitable tool
and tighten to a torque of 40 Nm.
5. Following initial assembly: check the tightening torque on the lock ring (3) after approx.
20 km.
Using a Center Lock
1. Clean the brake disc mount and brake disc.
2. Push the brake disc (1) onto the gearing of the
Center Lock mount on the hub.
3. Screw the lock ring (2) on using a suitable tool
and tighten to a torque of 40 Nm.
4. Following initial assembly: check the
tightening torque on the lock ring (2) after
approx. 20 km.
Using a 6-hole brake disc on a 6-hole hub
1. Clean the brake disc mount and brake disc.
2. Attach the brake disc as per the manufacturer's specifications. The original screws from the
brake disc manufacturer must be used.

Mounting the cassette
1. Clean the rotor surface. Aluminium rotors should not be greased. Steel rotors, on the other
hand, must be.
2. Clean the cassette.
There must be no dirt between the individual pinions in the cassette.
3. Assemble the cassette according to the manufacturer's specifications.
4. Tighten the lock ring to 40 Nm.
