Use

• Switch the device off after each surface has been cleaned as this will consid-
erably increase the operating time on each battery charge.
• To place down the device, tilt the stem forwards towards the main unit (8)
until it engages. To release the stem, tilt the stem backwards. When you do
this, fi x the main unit with your foot.
1. Tilt the stem with the handle (1) back a little in order to trigger the release mechanism
in the stem mount (6).
2. Move the On / Off switch (5) to the I position to activate the device. The device is in
stand-by mode and the operating lamp lights up green.
3. Press the start / stop button (2) on the handle to start the device. The two cleaning
feet (10) start to rotate.
The device has two speed settings which are set using the start / stop button (see
the "Device Overview" chapter).
4. Guide the device over the surface which is to be cleaned or polished.
5. If necessary, press the spray button (16) on the handle to make the fl oor damp with
the aid of the spray nozzle (9).
6. Press the start / stop button several times if necessary to stop the device. The clean-
ing feet come to a standstill.
7. Move the On / Off switch to the O position to switch off the device.
8. Clean the mop pads after use (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).

Cleaning and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Make sure that the device is switched off before cleaning it!
■ During cleaning make sure that no liquid gets into the main unit or the handle.
■ Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the housing. They may
damage the surfaces.
The mop pads may lose some of their colour over time. This is normal and does
not have any adverse effect on function. However, if one of the mop pads is dam-
aged or worn, it must be replaced (replacement set: Art. No. 08934).
• If there is still water in the water reservoir, empty it by opening the water reservoir
cap (11) and emptying the water reservoir over a sink or similar outlet.
• Clean the device with a damp, soft cloth if necessary. Then dry it with a soft cloth.
• Pull the mop pads off the cleaning feet (10) and clean them. Follow the washing
instructions! Please Note: Wash separately or with the same colours.
• Check the mains adapter and the mains cable regularly for any damage.
• Store the device and the accessories in a dry place that is protected from sunlight and
is not accessible to children and animals.
