Safety Information

Switch off, disconnect and remove the battery from the eBike System before working on
any aspect of the bicycle.
Rohloff E-14 components are sealed units and must not be disassembled. Opening or
dismantling of these components will invalidate the product warranty and may lead to
accidental destruction of the component in question.
Do not submerge the Rohloff E-14 components in water!
Should the components get wet, install and power-up the eBike System battery only after
the electrical contacts have completely dried.
Pushing the bicycle backwards may cause a switched off eBike System to switch „ON"
again.

Warning

Disconnection/connection of CAN-Bus cables during operation may lead to erratic
behavior of individual components – possibly even to the irreparable destruction
thereof.

Warning - Multishift-Function

The Rohloff E-14 multishift function shifts the SPEEDHUB into a pre-determined low gear
for starting off after having come to a complete halt. The pedal resistance is reduced
dramatically thereby. This can lead to loss of balance, accidents and injuries.
Pay close attention not to accidentally bump the Rohloff E-14 Switch Unit „˗" button during
bicycle operation
Do not rest fingers over the Rohloff E-14 Switch Unit buttons during operation.
Accidental downshifts (use of the Rohloff E-14 Switch Unit „˗" button) may result in loss of
control leading to accidents and injuries.
