and night operation (black / white mode) depending on the
ambient brightness.
The value DELAY in the submenu defines the delay time
for the switching: the higher the value, the longer the
delay time (value 0 = no switching, day operation);
with START LEVEL the threshold value is adjusted for
switching from day operation to night operation and with
END LEVEL the threshold value is adjusted for switching
from night operation to day operation: the higher the value,
the lower the luminous intensity at which the switching will
be released in case of upper or lower deviations.
Notes
1. The value START LEVEL must be higher than the value
END LEVEL.
2. The automatic switching does not work when the AGC function
chapter 6.5) is switched off or when the value AGC GAIN is
(
lower than the value START LEVEL.

It is possible to select in the submenu if the colour synchro-
nization signal (Burst) is to be contained in the video sig-
nal (ON) or not (OFF). A B / W video signal without burst pre-
vents disturbing coloured noise in the B / W picture. How-
ever, some (LCD) monitors require in general the colour
synchronization signal (burst) for picture synchronization.
To exit the submenu, press the button SET .
