According to the European Guideline 2002/96/EC,
power tools that are no longer usable, and according to
the European Guideline 2006/66/EC, defective or
used battery packs/batteries, must be collected sepa-
rately and disposed of in an environmentally correct
manner.
Batteries no longer suitable for use can be directly returned at:

Battery packs/batteries:

Integrated batteries may only be removed for disposal. Opening
the housing shell can damage or destroy the power tool.
When removing the battery from the machine, actuate the On/Off switch
8 until the battery is completely discharged. Unscrew the screw in the
casing and take off the casing shell. Disconnect the connections on the
battery and remove the battery.
Do not dispose of battery packs/batteries into
household waste, fire or water. Battery packs/bat-
teries should, if possible, be discharged, collect-
ed, recycled or disposed of in an environmental-
friendly manner.
