open field can be up to 10m. This distance can
drastically decrease, depending on many factors:
obstacles, electromagnetic interference, position
of the bicycle and the key.
Wireless Console – Unit Connection
For the connection between the Wireless console
and resistance unit, use the 8-core flat cable (Ref.
L). One of the two ends must be inserted in the
single connector of the Wireless console located
in the part below (see figure 32), whereas the other
must be inserted in the special connector on the
resistance unit. The difference in the connectors
prevents any mistakes.
UNIT CONNECTION
The resistance unit has three connectors
positioned on the back of the resistance unit:
• connector for cadence sensor.
• Connector for 8-core cable.
• Connector for power jack.
If the cadence sensor (ref. H) is installed, connect
the sensor plug to the connector on the resistance
unit.
Connect the 8-core cable (ref. L) of the Wireless
console to the resistance unit.
Connect the power supply (ref. U) to an electrical
socket and connect the jack to the resistance unit.
IMPORTANT: TO POWER THE ROLLER, ONLY
USE THE POWER ADAPTER SUPPLIED IN THE
REALPOWER BOX.
Then fix the 3 cables (current, 8 -core, cadence
cable ) to the unit, using the cable clamp present,
in order to prevent accidental breakage of the
electronic board connectors (see figure 33)
To make sure the power supply works properly,
when connecting the resistance unit to the
electric current check that the 3 Red LED's on the
top part of the Wireless console flash 4 times. If
the 3 LED's do not flash, the wireless console -
unit and/or unit - power mains connection was not

carried out correctly.

The RealPower can also be used without the aid of
the computer ("Stand Alone" mode).
To switch to "Stand Alone" mode, press the "TAB"
and "ENTER" keys on the Wireless Console
together until the middle LED starts flashing; at
this point the resistance unit can be controlled
manually
through
increasing or decreasing the resistance with a
