Touch the [Shutdown] button.
A message prompts you to confirm whether you
want to shut down the system.

Touch the [OK] button.
The system shuts down.
Note
If you touch the [Cancel] button, the message
closes and the system does not shutdown.

Turn off the peripheral devices.

Emergency Shutdown

If the unit stops responding or otherwise appears to be in
danger of malfunctioning, press and hold the 1 button
on the rear of the unit for at least four seconds to perform
an emergency shutdown.

Inserting a Paper Roll
Before inserting a new paper roll, make sure the unit is
turned off. See "Shutting Down" on page 7.

Open the receipt printer cover by inserting the eject
pin into the eject hole on the left.
Note
Make sure to insert the pin straight into the hole.
The cover will not open if the pin is inserted at an
angle.
