Assembly of the pump
The pump can be positioned at choice with the cartridge in horizontally or vertically suspended condition. If the cartridge is in
vertical position, it must be ensured that neither dirt nor other contamination may fall into the intake area below the cartridge.

Connection of the pump

The O rings 9x2.5, plug screws G1/4 and packing rings 13x18x1.5 are not required for this application. -
For the lubricant line, one of the straight screw couplings of standard design, which are supplied with the line, must be
mounted next to the cartridge adapter (Fig. 2: S1). As an alternative, the lubricant line can be connected to the pump casing in
three other positions (Fig. 2: S4, S5 or S6). To use one of the other outlets, replace the plug screw with Cu seal located at this

outlet (Fig. 2:S4, S5 or S6) by the inlet screw coupling. Mount the two other screw couplings at S2 and S3. Subsequently, to
supply the grease pump, connect a bypass line to the hydraulic system of the carrier unit - the supply line at S3 (Fig. 2) and the
return line at S2 (Fig. 2). Two hex. bolts M14x110 with lock washers are included in the scope of supply for fastening the pump.
These must be tightened using a torque wrench (110 Nm).

The straight screw couplings, hex. socket screw M4x12 and the Cu seals 4x8x1 are not required for this application.
Insert the O rings 9x2.5 supplied in the bore-holes F1-F3, ensuring maximum tidiness in the area of the sealing surfaces! Two -
hex. bolts M14x110 with lock washers are included in the scope of supply for fastening the pump. These must be tightened
using a torque wrench (110 Nm).
Connection of the pump
To supply the grease pump, connect a bypass line to the hydraulic system of the carrier unit - the supply line at S3 (Fig. 3) and
the return line at S2 (Fig. 3). Two hex. bolts M16x120 with lock washers are included in the scope of supply for fastening the
pump. These must be tightened using a torque wrench (110 Nm).

The location and type of installation of the pump must be coordinated with the
manufacturer of the carrier unit.
Before commissioning the unit, fill the lubricant lines via the grease nipple
(Fig. 1: item 5)!

First close the bore-holes for the flange connection model F1-F3 (Fig. 2) on the back of
the pump by means of the hex. socket screw M4x12 supplied, using the
Cu seals 4x8x1.
First close the bore-holes for the hose connection model S1-S3 on the pump by means of the
plug screws G1/4 enclosed to it, using the Cu seals 13x18x1.5
Check whether the connecting bore-holes are in the required area according to the drill pattern
in Fig. 2.
