1. Fill the container with (hot) water and make sure that the water will not come over the edge
on the inner mark (groove) of the water tank. Remember that placing food in the water will
also raise the water level – it should still not pass aforementioned groove.
2. Switch on the appliance by the green on/off switch on the back.
NOTE: Never allow the water level to pass above the marking. The products should
always remain entirely covered by the water. Make sure the ratio between water and
food is suitable, we recommend to err on the side of caution (when in doubt, remove
food and add water). If there is too little water in the container the water will not
circulate enough, preventing the diffusion of heat, causing food to be undercooked.
Start/stop (standby) button
By default the appliance is the standby mode. You will see'----' in the display and the current water
temperature will be displayed. Activate the appliance by the standby button
saved time and the current water temperature will be displayed.
Time/set button
Press the time/set button once. The hours will flash. Press the time adjustments buttons ▲ or ▼
to adjust the hours. Press the time/set button again. The minutes will flash. Press the time
adjustments buttons ▲ or ▼ to adjust the minutes. Wait several seconds and the time will be
stored or press the standby button twice.
If you keep pressure on the buttons ▲ or ▼, the time will change rapidly. If you just press the
button a single time, the time will move step by step.
This timers functions as an alarm clock. After the timer has ended, a warming signal beeps 3
times. This signal will be repeated every 5 minutes.
The heating function will remain in effect until the appliance is switched off on the back by the
green on/off switch (completely off) or if the standby button is pressed once (back to standby).
This timer is only to be used as an alarm/reminder function.
When you keep pressure on the time/set button for 3 seconds, the timer will go back to 00:00.
When the timer is set at 00:00 in this way, the alarm will stop beeping. The preset (programmed)
time will be avaible in the memory and will appear again when the appliance is started or stopped.
Would you rather not use the timer? Switch it off by setting the time to 00:00. To do this press the
time/set button for 1 second and press the ▲ or ▼ buttons to set the time to 00:00. After a few
secodns the hours/minutes display will stop flashing and the new time will be saved.
Set temperature
Press the temperature adjustment buttons ▲ or ▼ once, the display will show the last set
temperature and flashes. Press the ▲ or ▼ button again to adjust the temperature. The
temperature is changed by 0.1°C increments. Keep the button pressed and the temperature will
move rapidly forwards or backwards. As long as the appliance is heating up, the orange indicator
in the lower left corner will be lit
Closing the lid
After you set the time and temperature and put vacuumed food in the water tank, you need to
close the lid. To position the lid correctly on the tray, open the vent valve first. Only then you can
position the lid correctly. As soon as the lid closes well, close the vent valve.
To easily/quickly close the water tank you can use the GN 1/1 tray with article number 804100 as
well. Caution: danger of burns!
