b. Connecting to a door opener or electronic lock
Connect directly to terminals 3 and 4 on the back of the outside station (no polarity to respect).
Note that this function is only valid if the screen is switched on. The image will be interrupted briefly when the
control is used.
Important :
The door opener or electronic lock you are about to install must be a low consumption device and
have a mechanical memory like all EXTEL references. For the wiring, please consult the label on the back of the
outside station.
c. Connecting to a motorised entrance gate (fig.6)
Connect directly to terminals 5 and 6 on the back of the outside station. The outside station delivers a "dry"
contact with no current, to be connected to the "push button control" of your automatic opener.
Note that this function is only valid if the screen is switched on. The image will be interrupted briefly when the
control is used.

6. UsER GUIDE

a. Using the videophone
• A call from the outside station triggers an audible alarm and switches on the monitor for approximately 60
seconds. When the visitor has been identified, press the

control is used.
b. Monitor settings (fig.2)
• Date and time setting – accessible on the back of the monitor (13 fig.2)
Mode 1: TIME
Press the "MODE" key to select 'TIME' mode. The screen flashes in 12 hours or 24 hours format.
Press the '+' key to select the hour format (12 hour or 24 hour).
Press the 'SET' key to set the hour-minute-date using the '+' key to change the value.
When the time is set, press the 'MODE' key four times to exit the settings.
Mode 2 to 4: not used in this version
There are 4 controls located on the side of the monitor:
• Ring tone selection (9 fig.2). (the setting is only taken into account if the screen is on and after having pressed
the surveillance key (2 fig.2))
• Ring tone volume adjustment (8 fig.2).
• Brightness adjustment (9 fig.2).
• Color adjustment (10 fig.2).
c. Outside station settings (fig. 3)
If you notice that the outside station camera lens is not correctly aligned when installing the monitor and outside
station in their final positions, you can compensate for this misalignment using the adjustment holes at the back of
the outside station (7 fig.3).
Caution, you can only compensate by a few centimetres in height.
