b. Installing the monitor ...on a wall
1. Unfold the bracket behind the monitor.
2 The monitor must be placed on a flat, stable and vibration-free surface.
3. Unfold the aerial, it should point upwards.
4. Connect the adapter to the monitor (8 fig. 2)
5. Connect the mains adapter to the power outlet.
6. Press the on/off button (6 fig. 2) to turn on the monitor. The monitor is now ready for use.
c. Pairing the monitor with the electronic control box
• By default, the monitor and the outside station are paired in the factory.
• If the monitor is replaced, open the settings menu (11 fig 2), select using the directional keys and press
"OK" twice to start the pairing process .You have 30 seconds to press the pairing key on the electronic control
box (8 fig 4). Keep the pairing key pressed down for about 5 seconds until the LED on the control box flashes (9
fig. 4). The system will confirm the result.

5. USER GUIDE

Caution: If you test your videophone before installing it (short distance test) keep a minimum distance between
the monitor and the outside station of about 3 m (risk of saturation) Also place the monitor on a level surface.
When a visitor calls, your monitor will ring for about 30 seconds. This time period can be modified, see section 7,
settings. At the same time the outside station issues a tone to confirm that the call has been transmitted. Following
this period the electronic control box switches back to standby. If your electronic control box has a 12 or 24 V AC
/ DC power supply, you can force communications with the outside station by pressing (2 fig 2)
The conversation can be set up during a call by pressing (2 fig 2).
The initial communication time is set to 60 seconds this time can be modified. See section 7, settings
You can end a conversation by pressing (2 fig 2).
a. Recording from the monitor (SD card required)
- The automatic passage memory can be enabled, see section 7, settings.
- Recording starts automatically when there is a call from the outside station. If you answer from the monitor,
continuous recording
- A recording cannot be stopped before 15 seconds
- Recording time is configurable, see section 7, settings.
b. Installations with an electric door opener (or electric lock)
The electric door opener can only be opened during a conversation by pressing the . button.
Note: To guarantee opening, the door opener or lock must have a mechanical memory. (activation memory)
Caution: Opening is only possible if an image is shown on the screen.
c. Installations with an automatic portal
Caution: The access can only be opened if the electronic control box has an external power supply and if there
is an image on the screen..
- Press the button during a conversation.
d. Monitoring
At any time (during a call or not), you can control the images from the outside station ,on condition that the control
box has an external power supply (12/24 V AC/DC), by pressing the button (2 fig 2).
Important : This appliance is rated for a range of 300 m in an open area. However, it can be considerably reduced
depending on the environment (proximity of radio disturbances, etc.).
e. Powering off or standby
To switch the monitor to standby, press the on / off button for a long time (3 secs.) (6 fig. 2).
