More fuel should be added to the fire when the flames from
the previous burning off phase have just gone out.

Procedure
Adjust secondary air.
Set air slider to between
position 2 and 3.
Add two logs weighing approx.
1.3 kg (Delhi 114) / 1.6 kg
(Delhi 124) in total. Place logs
with the end to the front of fire
box. Only add a single layer
of fuel.
Close fire box door.

Emptying the Ash Drawer
As a safety precaution, please make sure that you only dispose
of ashes once they are cold. While the ash collects during the
fire, the lid (fig. 8/1) is located under the ash drawer (fig. 8/2).
The ash drawer contains the mineral components of the wood

Remove both the ash drawer (fig. 9/2) and the lid (fig. 8/1) lo-
cated underneath it. Make sure the ash does not pile up all the
way to the bottom of the fire box. Slide the lid (fig. 9/1) onto
the ash drawer so that it is closed; this prevents ashes from
flying around, which in turn means your home stays clean.
