14.1.2. Track separation

Th e recording on the record is viewed by the recording medium as a single track,
even if the record contains several songs. In order to divide the tracks in line with
the songs, press the TS button.
 If you want to sub-divide the recording in line with the pauses on the record into
individual tracks, press the TS ("Track Separation") button on the remote control
for each new track. PHONO is shown briefly on the display as confirmation.
14.1.3. Procedure for recording
 Insert the desired memory medium (USB stick or SD card) and place a record on
the turntable.
 If necessary, press the FUNCTION button until the operating mode PHONO
appears on the display.
 Lift the pick-up arm.
 Move the pick-up arm inwards over the edge of the record or over the point
from which you want to play the record. The turntable starts to rotate.
 Press the REC button (on the device or remote control). USB or CARD and the
entry
flash on the display. The recording starts.
 Now lower the pick.up arm.
 FULL appears on the display when the storage medium is full.
 Press the TS button if you want to sub-divide the recording into individual
tracks, see "Track separation" on page 55.
 In order to stop the recording, press the REC button again.

NOTE!
The length of the initialisation process can vary de-
pending on the manufacturer and/or the size of the
USB storage medium or SD card.
Do not pause the recording by lifting the pick-up arm
from the record. This will lead to the recording not be-
ing saved.
