 If you want to interrupt playback, lift the pick-up arm carefully off the record.
 To switch off the device, press the

12. Cassette mode

 Switch the device on by pressing .
 If necessary, press the FUNCTION button until the operating mode
TAPE appears on the display.
 Insert the cassette into the cassette compartment with the tape on the right un-
til it clicks into place. Playback will start automatically.
 Press in the EJECT button completely to stop playback and eject the cassette.
 If you want to fast forward the cassette to a certain position, press the EJECT
button half way in to start fast forwarding. The button remains in its depressed
position.
 Press the EJECT button again lightly to return to normal playback.
NOTE!
Ensure that the cassette is aligned in the correct direc-
tion when inserting it.
There is no playback of the recording when the cassette
is being fast forwarded.
Always remove the cassette from the device when play-
back has been completed. Also remove the cassette if
you select another function.
