9.4. Setting the timer

You can set a time when the device will switch on and off automatically every day.
The timer can only be set in standby mode.
 Hold down the TIMER button until ON TIME and a clock symbol appear on
the display.
 Use the  or  buttons to set the desired on time. Firstly select the hour and
then the minutes. Confirm each step with the TIMER button.
 Press the FUNCTION button once or multiple times to select the operating
mode (e.g. USB or CARD) in which the device will switch on. Press the TIMER
button again to confirm.
 Select the volume at which the device should switch on. To do this, press the vol-
ume buttons VOL -/+. Press the TIMER button again.
 Set the off time. Use the  or  buttons to set the desired off time. Firstly select
the hour and then the minutes. Confirm each step with the TIMER button.
9.4.1. Deactivating the timer
In order to deactivate a set timer, press the TIMER button. The clock symbol disap-
pears from the display.

9.5. Display

When the device is switched on, the DISPLAY button can be used to show differ-
ent modes on the display. By pressing this button once or multiple times, it is possi-
ble to display track information, the time or the timer settings in sequence.

10. Sound functions

10.1. Setting the volume

 Turn the volume controller on the device lightly in a clockwise or anti-clockwise
direction or press the VOL -/+ button on the remote control to increase or de-
crease the volume of the device.

10.2. Equalizer

The device offers multiple presets for the equaliser.
 Press the EQ button to call up the desired sound preset in sequence: FLAT,
CLASSIC, ROCK, POP, JAZZ.
