INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
A stopcock needs to be installed as indicated in Fig. 10,
no. 1.
Together with the EQUAL Complet equipment, the
necessary accessories are also supplied for the hydraulic
installation. The following are thus also supplied with the
equipment: 2 flexible pipes Ø 10-12 and 2m in length,
and 2 x 1/2" connections.
Hydraulic connection of the dosing pumps
Connect the impulse pipe supplied to the upper joint of
each pump with the injection valve also included in the
products supplied (see Fig. 2). The injection valves must
be connected to the pool
pump's impulse pipes by a
connecting collar. The two
injection valves must not be
connected to a single point,
but should be separated by
about at least 50 cm.
Prior to the insertion of the
6x4 transparent suction
pipe in the can of chemical
reactant, the relevant level
probe and foot valve must be
assembled.
The level probe - foot valve
combination must not rest on
the bottom of the recipient,
but must be a few centime-
tres above so as to avoid the
blocking of the foot valve by
solids.
The level probe and foot valve
are supplied in the main kit.
See Fig. 3
The suction pipe must be
in a vertical position so as
to avoid pockets of air from
forming.

The pH dosing pump must be connected to the contai-
ner with hydrochloric acid (HCl) No. CAS 7647-01-0. A
commercial dilution at 23% is recommended.
The Cl dosing pump must be connected to the chlorine
recipient: NaOCI sodium hypochlorite CAS 7681-52-9.
The use of a commercial dilution between 40 and 80
mg/l. is recommended.
The priming of the dosing pumps can be carried out in
manual function. (Click MENU - >PASSWORD > press
key F up to F9 Manual Function - ENTER). Further infor-
mation on page 7 and following pages.
Connect the transparent 6X4 flexible pipe supplied to the
purging joint. Insert the other end of the pipe in the con-
tainer of the product so as to avoid dangerous splashes.

Connecting the probes

After completing the hydraulic and electrical connections
the next stage is to undertake the connection of the pH
and Redox probes, as indicated in Figure 4.
The probes are supplied with the connecting cable and a
BCN terminal for the connection to the central unit.
ATTENTION The pH and Redox probes must be iden-
tified and connected to their respective terminals. The
connections are not interchangeable.
The probes are supplied in an individual cardboard box
inside the packaging of the whole system. The probes
have a rubber protection on their lower sections with
liquid inside. The probes must be kept in contact with
liquid at all times in order to operate correctly. Before
commencing the process of calibrating the probes this
rubber protection must be removed.
After connecting the probes, activate the general switch
located in the lower part of the panel (Fig. 4.1) and pro-
