Air Die Grinder
Vl.O
c.
Tighten collet chuck securely with
wrench provided.
WARNING! Always check cutter for tightness before
each use. A loose cutter can be
thrown from tool with
considerable force, causing injury.
3.
Connect the tool to the air hose.
4.
Place the bit over the work piece and turn on
the grinder.
5.
Use grinding wheels when working with hard
materials and rotary files for milling soft materials
such as nonferrous metals (aluminum, brass,
copper, etc.) Using grinding wheels when working
with soft materials will clog the wheel, preventing it
from cutting as it was designed.
WARNING! Do not allow the tool to run with no load
for an extended period of time as this will shorten
its life.
CHANGING THE COLLET
1.
Use a wrench to remove the housing cap (31).
2.
Place the wrench 19 (33) onto the slots of the collet
nut (30) to hold it in place.
3.
Place the other wrench 14 (32) onto the slots of the
spindle (27) and unscrew the collet nut to expose
the collet (29).
NOTE: The collet may become stuck in the spindle. The
use of a vice and pliers may facilitate the removal of the
collet. Be careful not to damage the spindle or collet
while removing the collet.
