3.6 About intended use
This appliance may only be used in the
household. It is not suitable for industrial or
commercial use.
The cleaning robot must only be used to
wipe up dust or wash clean normally soiled
hard floors.
Any other use is considered inappropriate and
is prohibited.
It is especially forbidden:
To use, store or charge the appliance out-
side or at temperatures other than normal
room conditions;
To put objects on the appliance.
To modify or repair the appliance, the
mains adapter or the optional quick charging
station yourself.
3.7 About risks during use
The appliance works automatically and quiet-
ly. It might also change direction without warn-
ing.
Therefore, before switching on, ensure
that there are no small children or pets in the
room to be cleaned. Always take care not to
step on, stumble over or fall over the appli-
ance.

3.8 If the appliance is defective

The appliance does not contain any parts that
you can repair yourself.
Never attempt to repair the appliance

Also forbidden is use:
- ... close to hot, smouldering, burning,
pointed or sharp objects;
- ... on carpets, or uneven, rough or too
smooth surfaces;
- ... to clean up liquids;
- ... when the floor cloth is too wet;
- ... when the floor cloth has not been at-
tached;
- ... to clean up quantities of dirt exceed-
ing the usual accrual of dust and parti-
cles; and

sealed wooden floors and other sensi-
tive floors.
Nor is it permitted to fill the water tank with
liquids other than water nor even small quan-
tities of mild cleaning agent.
When wet cleaning, the appliance creates a
wet film on the floor. This could—depending
on the floor—cause persons to slip and fall.
It is advisable to let the floor dry before
walking on it. If you have to walk over a wet
floor, proceed with care.
If the appliance has been dropped or dam-
aged in another way and has obvious signs of
damage, give it to an authorised dealer or
Royal Appliance Customer Services to be re-
paired.
Send the defective appliance without the
floor cloth and with the water tank of the wet
floor cleaning panel empty to the address in
ZPage 192, "International Service".
