switch on the set, it is in this tuning mode.
• Tune to a station of a lower or higher frequency.
If youhave switched o ntheTAmode, theradiowillonlysearch for
stationsallowingthe receptionof TramcAnnouncements.*

On to first searchfor strong stations and then weak
stations,
or
Off to search for all stations.
FREQUENCY
SCAN
• Switch
the
scan:
On to hear each station on the current waveband in turn
for about 10 seconds, or
Off to listento a stationnormallywhen you hear
a station you like.
MANUAL
TUNING
Usemanual tuningif youknowthefrequency o f therequired
station.
• Switch to manual tuning by pressing the keys
simultaneously. T he set beeps.
• Tune to the desired frequency.
• Switch back to search tuning. Theset beeps.
After I minute theradio automatically switches backto search
tuning.
