CD PLAYBACK
This CD player is suitable for 12 cm discs.
• Slidethe discinto the slot withthelabel f acing upwards, or
• If a disc is alreadyinserted: select the CD as source.
The display shows:
- Thetotalnumber o f tracks(e.g.: 1 4)andthetotal playing
time (e.g.:61: 10), and then
- Thecurrenttrack number(e.g.: 3 ) andthe elapsed time
(e.g.:00:21).
If you insertthe discupside-down, it will be ejected. T ramc
ts, Announcemen News bulletins and Alarm message mayinterrupt
CD playback. *
PREVIOUS 1 NEXT
• Select the desired
- One of the previous tracks(e.g.: 1 ),or
- One of the next tracks (e.g.: 6 ).
Playbackresumesstarting from the chosen track.
FAST BACKWARD
• Quickly moveto another part of the discduring play-
back.Normal p layback resumes when yourelease t hekey.
TRACK SCAN
• Switch the SCAN:
On to hear the first 10 secondsof eachtrack, or
Off when youhearatrackyoulike. N ormal p layback resumes.
RANDOM TRACK
• Switch the random playback of the tracks:
On to play the tracks on the disc in random order. You
canalso playtheprevious o rthenextrandomly-selected
Off to resumenormal playback.
DISC EJECT
• Eject the disc.
• Carefully remove the disc from the player.
Ifthe disc isnotremoved within15seconds, theplayer w illreload
the disc.
CARE OF DISCS
- Avoid making fingerprints on the discwhenyoutakeit out.
- Putthediscback in its boximmediately afterejecting it,to
protect the disc from damageand dust.
- Do not expose thediscto heator directsunlight.
