4.2 Changing the filter

The filter must be canged if there is a considerable
increase in the times for evacuating and ventilating of
the mixing bowls or if the Multivac compact requests
you to change the filter.
Remove the lock ring from the coupling with a
slotted screwdriver.
Pull out the old filter element.
Remove adhering material residues from the
coupling area.
Place the new filter element onto the lock ring.
Insert the filter element with lock ring into the
coupling again.
The lock ring must engage again.
Using the unit without filter may cause a
damage of the vacuum system.

Elimination of failures

5.1 Release of the fuse

During switching on or during the start of the unit the internal unit fuse is released.
The unit fuse is located next to the power supply connection. Repeated release of the fuse
indicates a defect which must be eliminated by a service technician. Single release of the fuse can
also be caused by jamming of the motor of the stirring mechanism. In this case - after eliminating
the jamming - the fuse can be changed and the Multivac compact can be used again.
The unit must be unplugged before the fuse is changed.
