Recipes | Grater (1 or 2)
Apple carrot salad | 1 persons
ƒ 1 apple
ƒ 1 carrot
Core and quarter the apple. Peel the carrot and grate it with the grater (1 or 2) in the ESGE-
Zauberette
. Season with lemon juice.

Radish salad | 4 persons
ƒ 1 radish (or 2 bunches of small red radish)
ƒ 125 ml of sweet cream
ƒ 1 pinch of sugar
Peel the radish resp. the small radishes and grate them with the ESGE-Zauberette
cream with sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper in a bowl and add the grated radish.
Mix thorougly.

Apple strudel
ƒ 1 packet of frozen puff pastry
ƒ 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
ƒ 4-5 apples (mellow sort)
ƒ 2-3 tablespoons of sugar
Thaw the puff pastry. Roll it to a rectangle (do not knead, the dough will not rise).
Cut into 1.5 cm wide stripes from both sides on about 1/3 of the total width, the third in the
middle should not be cut. Spread 1 tablespoon of bread crumbs on the middle part of the dough.
Peel the apples, cut them into pieces and grate them with the ESGE-Zauberette
Fill the apple chips into a bowl, add the remaining bread crumbs, the sugar, and the vanilla sugar,
mix the ingredients and pour them on the uncut piece of dough. Fold the two cut dough sections
over the apple filling, alternatingly from left and from right to form a plait .
Eventually „glue" the dough ends with eggwhites.
Mix the cream and the egg yolks and brush the strudel with this mixture. Place the strudel on a
baking tin and bake it in the oven (convection oven - 160 °C approximate 30-35 minutes) Please
respect also the instructions of the oven manufacturer.
TIP: Enjoy it warm or cold with vanilla sauce or ice cream.
