How to work with the graters and slicers

For grating of:
ƒ Vegetables
(tomato, cucumber,
carrot etc.)
ƒ Fruit
ƒ Bread or bread crumbs
ƒ Cheese, parmesan, herbs
ƒ Chocolate
1. Place the discharge plate (2)
into the bowl (1). Make sure
that the four notches of the
plate match the protrusion
of the bowl.
2. Mount a disk from above
into
opening of the the disk
holder (5). Make sure to
keep the flat side of the
disc to match the flat side
of the opening. It's the
only way to snap the disc.
With both thumbs push
down until the cam (arrow) engages. Pro-
ceed only after che-
cking if the disc is
stuck. Please handle
the disks with great
care as they are
very sharp.

Cleaning

Clean the appliance as soon as you have finished working. The synthetic parts may become
discoloured by certain food or spices (e.g. carrots, radish, nutmeg etc.). All parts except the
transmission unit (11) are dishwasher proof. The discharge plate can be taken out for cleaning.

Repair

Repairs are to be performed exclusively by our after-sales service. If the appliance is used for
other purposes than those for which it is intended, if it is incorrectly operated or repaired by
unqualified persons, no responsibility can be accepted for for eventual damages. In such a case
the warranty becomes void.

3. Put the disk holder (5) on the shaft (3) of
the plate (2).
4. Place the transmission unit (9) on the bowl.

6. Fill the foodstuff into the feed tube (11).
If the foodstuff is too large, cut it into
convenient pieces fitting easily into the
funnel.
7. Always use the pusher (12) to add additional
foodstuff through the feed tube. Fill the
feed tube (11) completely. If not filled
sufficiently, vegetable pieces may block the
appliance. Never reach with your fingers
or with any hard utensils (spoons, knives,
bones etc.) into the feed tube!
8. The patented discharge plate (2) makes it
very easy to take the finished food out of
the bowl (1).
9. The mounted disk
can be easily and
safely removed
from the disk holder
(5) by pressing the
disc from the back of the disk holder (5).
Please handle the disks with great care as
they are very sharp.
