CAUSE
Fluid tip has not been properly
tightened
Damaged/worn paint nozzle seal
Loose air cap
Gap between air cap and fluid tip
("air circuit") is clogged
Nozzle set is clogged or
damaged
Atomising air gets into gravity
flow cup via paint channel. Fluid
tip not tightened sufficiently. Air
cap not screwed on completely,
air circuit clogged, seat defective
or nozzle set damaged.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Tighten fluid tip.

Replace paint nozzle seal.

Tighten air cap by hand.
