Manual pairing with a preinstalled Powerline network
1. Pair the energy costs meter manually with a pre-installed Powerline
network. Press and hold the reset button (7) of the energy costs meter
for 12 seconds. Release the reset button and wait until all LEDs turn off
and then turn on again.
2. Pair the energy costs meter with your home plug. Press and hold the
reset button (7) of the energy costs meter for 2 seconds (If the device
is in pairing mode, it will exit the pairing mode.). Release the reset
button and wait until the LED indicator on/off (5) starts to flash. The LED
indicator on/off flashes as long as the device stays in pairing mode. Start
the pairing mode at your home plug which is connected with your router
within 1 minute. Observe the operating instructions of your home plug. A
connection with the home plug is established as soon as the LED PLC
device detection (3) flashes.
Manual pairing after reset of Powerline network and Powerline adapter
Reset your home plug. Observe the operating instructions of your home
plug. Press and hold the reset button (7) of the energy costs meter for
7 seconds. Release the reset button and wait until all LEDs turn off.
Thereafter the LED indicator on/off (5) turns on. The device will be reset to
factory delivery condition. The network name of the energy costs meter is
"HomePlugAV". Thereafter continue with step 2.
Some home plugs require a pc-software to reset to factory delivery
condition. If this is necessary for your home plug, please use your
pc-software to reset the home plug and change the default network
name for the home plug to "HomePlugAV". Thereafter repeat steps 1
to 2.
