Regularly check that the rollers of the drive units are free of dirt or debris that has accumulated
during use or downtime.
Please regularly check the distance between the rollers and the tyres. In the neutral, fully disen-
gaged position (Fig.8), this must be 20 mm.
Have your caravan manoeuvring aid serviced and visually inspected once a year. This inspection
must include all screw connections, cables and electrical connections as well as lubrication of
the moving parts/joints.
There is a risk that elements of the manoeuvring aid will fail if it is not used for a longer period
of time. Proceed accordingly by applying lubricant and removing oxidation if necessary.
DO NOT use any form of pressurised water or chemical cleaning agents on your caravan mano-
euvring aid.
When servicing your manoeuvring aid, be sure to disconnect the power supply as failure to do
so may cause an electric shock.
In the event of failures or problems, please contact your dealer.
Every Berger product is thoroughly inspected and tested before it leaves the factory. The war-
ranty is 2 years and begins with the purchase of the appliance. Please provide proof of this date
with proof of purchase (sales slip, invoice, delivery note, etc.). Please keep these documents in a
safe place. In case of repair, take the unit to your dealer or send it to him.

The maximum operating voltage for protective extra-low voltage is 50V AC and
120V DC. The protective measure safety extra-low voltage provides protection
against direct contact and indirect contact. Protective extra-low voltage systems
are operated without a protective earth conductor and must not have any connection to the
earthed supply network of the protective extra-low voltage generator. Active parts must
neither be earthed nor connected to parts of higher voltage.
