The continuous operating time of the device is approximately 8,000 cycles * (excluding
wearable parts). To ensure safe and trouble-free operation, inspection and maintenance of
the entire device should be carried out after exceeding the service life limit.
Periodic inspection refers to the inspection of the unit after approximately 100 cycles* of
operation.
* The work cycle means lifting and lowering of the load once.
a) Pull the mains plug and let the unit cool down completely before cleaning, adjusting or
replacing accessories and when the unit is not in use.
b) Replace damaged or worn parts on an ongoing basis and keep proper maintenance
records.
c)
Periodically check the operation of the limit switches.
Carry out a test run without load.
Move the load "up". Do not stop the machine drive below the level of the limit switch lever
(7). The limit switch should be activated - the operation of the device should be stopped.
Move the load "down". Do not stop the machine drive above the safe limit of the steel cable
on the drum. The lower limit switch should be activated
- the operation of the device should be stopped.
d) Periodically inspect the technical condition of the power and control cables.
e) Periodically inspect the condition of the braking system. The brake should also be inspected if
the motor makes unusual noises during operation or if the unit is not able to sustain the rated
load.
f)
Always after 200 operating cycles perform maintenance on the carrying cable and blocks
(lubrication).
g) Always check the technical condition of the carrying cable after exceeding 30 cycles of operation.
A damaged carrying cable should be replaced immediately.
h) Always check the technical condition of the hook and the winch block after 1000 operating
cycles.
i)
Each time the unit operates for over 1000 work cycles, check the unit's fastening screws.
j)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning the surfaces.
k) After each cleaning, all the parts should be dried well before the unit is used again.
l)
Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
m) Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
n) Make sure that no water enters through the ventilation openings in the casing.
o) Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and compressed air.
p) Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any damages.
q) Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
r)
Do not clean the unit with acidic substances, medical products, diluent, fuel, oil or other
chemicals as this may cause damage to the unit.
