INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1:
Remove lower door trim and remove or pull back inner door seal to allow access to hood release
handle area.
STEP 2:
Remove kick panel and dead pedal (if necessary).
STEP 3:
Remove any remaining pieces of broken handle. Ensure all plastic is removed from cable end. If necessary,
use an emery cloth on cable end to remove plastic. A more robust tool, such as a pair of cutters, may be
needed to remove more stubborn leftover plastic from the cable end.
STEP 4:
Line up and slide new handle onto cable end. The pre-installed clip nut will permanently lock onto the
cable and will be impossible to remove, so ensure that the handle is correctly oriented before installing.
STEP 5:
Install dead pedal (if necessary) and kick panel.
STEP 6:
Install door seal and lower door trim.
