Notes
• In general, work with a low feed
rate. Exert only moderate pressure
on the work-piece.

Roughing
Requirements
• Roughing wheel
NOTICE! Property damage. Never
use a cutting disc for roughing!

• Guard cover without attachment
 WARNING! Risk of injury due
to loss of control. Remove the at-
tachment (19) of the guard cov-
er (6) to avoid bumping the work-
piece.

• A working angle of 30° to 40°
achieves the best results for rough-
ing.
Grinding with a wire brush
Requirements
• Suitable grinding brush
• Guard cover (6)
Notes
• Wear safety goggles as wires could
come loose.
• Only use disc brushes that are no
thicker than the maximum permit-
ted thickness (≤16.5 mm). Wires
can hit the guard cover and break.
• Suitable for rough rust removal,
cleaning weld seams and removing
paint.
• Exert only moderate pressure on
the workpiece. Do not exert ex-
cessive strain on the wire brush by
pressing down too hard.
Inserting and removing the
battery
 WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert
the battery into the device once the
device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incor-
rect battery can damage the device
and battery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (3) along the
guide into the battery holder (2).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release
(21) on the battery (3).
