Notes
•
DANGER! Risk of injury! Only
use attachment tools recommen-
ded by the manufacturer.
• Only use undamaged attachment
tools.
• The disc is attached with a keyless
chuck (27) to the uptake spindle
(29). There are two ways to loosen
or tighten the keyless chuck:
• By hand: To do this, fold the
bracket (26) of the keyless
chuck upwards.
• With the chuck key (18); kept in
the auxiliary handle (5)
Procedure (Fig. C)
1. Check the attachment tool. Do
not use the attachment tool if it is
damaged.
2. Press and hold the spindle lock
(10).
3. Turn the uptake spindle (29) until
the stop button holds the uptake
−1
spindle in a fixed position. Keep
pressing the spindle lock (10).
4. Loosen the keyless chuck (27).
You can release the spindle lock
(10).
5. Disassembly: Take the attach-
ment tool off the mounting flange
(28).
Assembly: Place the attachment
tool on the mounting flange (28).
The label on the cutting/grinding
disc should always face the tool.
If a direction of rotation is indic-
ated on the disc, this must match
the direction of rotation arrow (7)
Ensure that the attachment flange
(28) is placed on the tool in such
a way that the recesses in the at-
tachment flange grip into the edge
of the tool. The uptake spindle (29)
must turn simultaneously when
you turn the attachment flange.
6. Place the keyless chuck (27) on
the uptake spindle (29). The flat
side of the keyless chuck faces the
attachment tool.
7. Press and hold the spindle lock
(10).
8. Turn the uptake spindle (29) until
the stop button holds the uptake
spindle in a fixed position. Keep
pressing the spindle lock (10).
9. Tighten the keyless chuck (27).
You can release the spindle lock
(10).
If you have fitted a cutting disc: Fit
the attachment onto the guard cover
(p. 46).
