7.4 Incremental heating test

On delivery, the actuator is open
with current "off" due to the "First-
Open" function. This allows for the
operation of the heating system
during construction work even if
the electric wiring of the individu-
al room temperature control has
not yet been terminated. During
commissioning, the "First-Open"
function is released automatically
by switching the operating current
on (more than 6 min.) and the actu-
ator is ready for operation.
Proceed as follows during the incremental
heating test:
Control the flow temperature via
the heat generator control.
1. Start with a flow temperature between
20°C and 25°C for at least 3 days.
2. Then heat at the maximum design flow
temperature for at least 4 days.
8. Operation
Set the fluid temperature of the surface
temperature balance circuit at the handwheel
inside the "Unibox TQ-RTL R-Tronic" (see 3.4.1
on page 28). Set the room temperature at the
thermostat.
