7.2.1 "Teaching in" of the R-Tronic
(ENOCEAN)
To connect the "Unibox TQ-RTL R-Tronic" to
the wireless thermostat "R-Tronic", both com-
ponents have to be "teached in". "Teaching in"
means the creation of a radio communication.
1. Set the rotary knob of the wireless receiver
"R-CON FBH" to "Connect" (see Illust. 13
on page 33 (3)). The LED starts flashing.
2. Select the menu option SETTINGS »
INSTALLATION » TEACH IN in the menu of
the wireless thermostat "R-Tronic":
Once the "teach in" process has
been completed successfully, you
have to set the date and time at the
wireless thermostat.
For further information regarding
setting, please refer to the operat-
ing instructions supplied with the
wireless thermostat.

Once the "teach in" process has
been completed successfully, the
LED stops flashing.
3. Set the rotary knob of the wireless receiver
to "RUN".
7.2.2 "Teaching in" of additional
devices
To "teach in" additional devices, e.g. window
contact or actuator "mote 420", set the rotary
knob of the "R-CON FBH" to "Connect". For

connection, press the "Connect" knob at the

respective device.

7.3 Preliminary work for
incremental heating test
Carry out an incremental heating test to check
the correction function of the surface tempera-
ture balance system.
NOTICE
Damage to the screed as a re-
sult of incorrect temperatures
f Carry out the incremental heating
test of concrete and calcium sul-
phate screed in accordance with
DIN EN 1264-4.
f Observe the instructions of the
screed manufacturer.
f Adapt the flow temperature to
the surface temperature balance
system.
f Do not exceed the screed temper-
ature specified as per DIN 1264-4
near the heating pipes.
Apply heating screed complying with standards
after plastering.
Start the incremental heating test at the earli-
est:
• 21 days after laying of concrete screed
• 7 days after laying of calcium sulphate
screed
