DESCALING
In order to keep your coffee machine working efficiently you must
regularly clean the mineral deposits (scale) produced by the water.
You must bear in mind the water quality (hard or soft water) in
your usage area and how frequently the equipment is used.
You are recommended to carry out equipment descaling every
three months, or after approximately 300 Delta Q capsule
extractions.
Follow the safety instructions shown on the Delta Q descaling kit
packaging.
Avoid contact of the descaling solution with eyes, skin, machine
and surrounding surfaces.
LONG PERIOD OF NON-USE
DO NOT INSERT A CAPSULE
• Fill the water tank with mineral water up to the
maximum limit mark.
Place it back in its initial position.
Make sure that it is properly inserted.
• Connect the electrical plug to the respective earthed
socket.
• Touch any extraction button to start heating up the
machine.
The extraction buttons will flash for about 1 minute.
After reaching the temperature, extraction buttons will
turn green, the machine is ready to use.
• Place a mug (min. 180 ml).
Without inserting a capsule, touch the Long Drinks
button to start the cleaning, repeat this step 2 times.
