Adapter for drill taps

NOTE
► For cutting threads, the tool holder with retainer must be
dismantled.
For further information, see the section Dismantling/as-
sembling the tool holder.
► BDS offers matching industrial tool holders and drill tap
adapters in its range of accessories.
Inserting the tool
Insert the tool holder with Weldon shank from below into the

morse taper (5) of the machine.
Insert the drill tap into its matching adapter.

Insert the drill tap with adapter into the industrial tool holder.
‹
Turn both Allen screws of the industrial tool holder securely.
‹
Removing the tool
Loosen both Allen screws in the tool holder and remove the
‹
adapter with drill tap by pulling it downwards.
Remove the drill tap by pulling it downwards out of its adap-
‹
ter.
