3. Place the lid on the cooker; align the locking pin on the handle with the
open lock symbol and turn it counterclockwise until the locking pin clicks
into place. Turn the pressure regulator knob to PRESSURE when using the
Pressure Cook setting.
4. Press the MANUAL button once, then press the + button to scroll to the
Pressure Cook setting. The pressure icon will blink and the display will show
PRES when you've reached the Pressure Cook setting, press the MANUAL
button again to confirm the Pressure Cook setting.
5. Once you've confirmed the Pressure Cook setting, the display will show the
default cooking time of 1 minute on the default pressure level Low. You can
now use the + and – buttons to adjust your time and press the MANUAL
button to switch between High and Low pressure.
6. Once you've set your desired cooking time, press the START/STOP button to
being cooking. The pressure icon and indicator lights will blink as pressure is
building. Once pressure has been reached, the pressure icon and the lights
will stay lit and the unit will beep. This is when your cooking time will begin
counting down.
NOTE: If you forget to select a desired cooking time or forget to press the
START/STOP button, the unit will beep and the digital display will read --:--
after 30 seconds.
7. Once the cooking time is done, the unit will beep and automatically switch
to the Keep Warm function. If you do not press the START/STOP button or
release pressure at the end of the cooking time, the multi-cooker will beep
periodically to remind you to release pressure.
Slow Cook Setting
This setting allows you to use the unit as a slow cooker to prepare classics such
as pot roasts, soups and stews in up to 24 hours. Load your ingredients in the
morning and dinner will be waiting for you in the evening.
1. Place the removable cooking pot into the unit.
2. Place all ingredients as needed into the removable cooking pot.
3. Place the lid on the cooker; align the locking pin on the handle with the open
lock symbol and turn it counterclockwise until the locking pin clicks into
place. Turn the pressure regulator knob to STEAM when using the Slow
Cook setting.
4. Press the MANUAL button once, and then press the - button to scroll to the
Slow Cook setting. The slow cook icon will blink and the display will show
SLOW when you've reached the Slow Cook setting, press the MANUAL
button again to confirm the Slow Cook setting.
5. Once you've confirmed the Slow Cook setting, the display will show the
default cooking time of 2 hours on the default slow cook level Low. You can
now use the + and – buttons to adjust your time and press the MANUAL
button to switch between High and Low slow cooking levels.
6. Once you've set your desired cooking time, press the START/STOP button
